What Must I Do To Be Saved? The apostle Paul was once asked this question – and the answer he gave was surprisingly simple. In a moment we will look at that answer in the Bible, but first, I'd like to take a little trip down The Romans Road to Salvation...
Will you pray this little prayer with me? Dear Lord, I am a sinner. I'm not worthy to have eternal life – to live forever with you! I have tried on my own, and failed miserably! I need You, Jesus! Come into my life and straighten up the mess I have made! Clean me up, dust me off, clothe me in Your righteousness, and show me the love that caused You to die on that cross in my place. The punishment for my sin is death – but you took my sin upon yourself so that I might live! Show me how to live for You, Jesus! Show me how to tell others about You, Jesus! Show me how to please You, Jesus! In Jesus Name I pray, Amen! Now what? One of the best things you can do right now is tell somebody! Do you know someone who is a Christian? Go tell them you are one, too! You can also write to us at admin@JEMMinistries.org. We are here to rejoice with you, pray for you, and help you on your journey to Heaven! You also need to start reading your Bible. It's God's love letter to you, and it is full of wise council, wonderful promises, and perfect truth. If you don't have a Bible, you can read it online at http://www.biblegateway.com. Remember, if you get into God's Word, it will get into you! And, finally, you need to find a fellowship of Bible believing Christians. Your new pastor will help you understand the truths of God, and help you grow in your new-found faith! If you are close enough, please consider joining us at The Mill! If you have any trouble finding a church, please feel free to drop us a note at the above e-mail address, and we will do all we can to help you. Welcome to the Family! |
